 My name is Jamila and I have a biracial child. Sounds like an introduction to an AA meeting or something Well I’m African American and my hubby is white. We’ve been married for about 3 years and have a beautiful (seriously and not because I’m biased) 15 month old little girl. I started this site because when it came to looking for certain items,info etc pertaining to bircacial babies there was little out there. I though am I naive or what, shouldn’t there be a lot more out there relating to biracial babies. Apparently I am, so I thought start your own. Viola here I am!

We reside in San Diego and have an amazing network of friends and family that are of all different races and ethnicites but no one has a biracial baby. I decided to start a playgroup in the area so we could meet, greet, and play with other families raising biracial babies. Within a week we had 15 memebrs and that was without me advertising anything about the group. 2 months later we have about 45 members and are growing everyday. That started a whole other chain of events and now I’m creating the powerhouse that is Biracial Babies Rock!! I’ve started a line of tshirts, onesies, and tanks and am working on a line of biracial dolls.

Be on the look out for things to come. This is currently a work in progress. I’m excited about this venture and the space to be able to discuss, meet, and celebrate biracial babies. Thanks for stopping by.
